Important Notice: October 1, 2024 is the deadline for receiving missing immunizations. Per Arkansas state law, if your child is missing immunizations, he or she will not be allowed to attend school after September 30, 2024, until the immunizations are received. If your child is exempt from immunizations, exemption letters must be received by October 1, 2024.
Multiple letters have been sent to those requiring immunizations. Please call your physician or the health department to schedule immunizations if they have yet to be received. Please provide a copy of the immunization record to your child's school. Thank you.

A parent notified the Crossett Police Department of a communication their student received that could be interpreted as a possible threat to the high school, which was referred to as “CHS.” Crossett Police investigated and performed a threat assessment, and have reached the conclusion that the communication was not directed at our high school, but another high school that could be referred to as “CHS.” Regardless, there will be an enhanced law enforcement presence at the high school tomorrow. We do appreciate the parent for doing the right thing and notifying the police, and we are very grateful for the prompt and diligent law enforcement response to this.

Final Update
We have been notified that the suspect in the alleged threat to the football game is in police custody and has been arrested. We believe that there is no longer any active threat directed at this school district, and the football game will proceed as usual. Law enforcement has been tremendously helpful to us, and we are very grateful for their prompt and comprehensive response. We appreciate your patience as we have worked through this situation, and as always, we appreciate your support.

Update:
Further investigation has revealed that the alleged threat was directed at tonight’s home football game, and not the high school itself. However, we continue to maintain the law enforcement and staff vigilance put in place earlier. Law enforcement is in the process of investigating the allegation, and the individual in question is not on campus and will not be on campus until the investigation is complete. There will be enhanced law enforcement presence at tonight’s game, but at the present, it is still scheduled to occur. Please monitor the district’s website for possible further updates.

We have been made aware of a possible threat to student and staff safety at the High School. We are responding to this by requesting additional law enforcement support and adding staff to aggressively monitor security technology, as we investigate the situation fully. Please trust that nothing is more important than the security of our campuses and the safety of our students and staff as we work to resolve this situation.

Attention Eagle Fans! Please be aware of our Game Day Rules. Thank you for your support of all our Eagles.

Good Morning,
At approximately 8:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2024, Crossett School District received a report of an individual walking near the high school campus with a possible weapon. Out of an abundance of caution, safety protocols were initiated for Crossett High School and Crossett Middle School. Resource officers at both Crossett Middle School and Crossett High School were on campus. Additionally, local law enforcement was notified to investigate the report. Upon completion of the investigation, the all-clear was given at 8:05 a.m., and safety protocols were lifted.
