CROSSETT SCHOOL DISTRICT

 We have been made aware of a possible threat to student and staff safety at the High School. We are responding to this by requesting additional law enforcement support and adding staff to aggressively monitor security technology, as we investigate the situation fully. Please trust that nothing is more important than the security of our campuses and the safety of our students and staff as we work to resolve this situation.

Good Morning, At approximately 8:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2024, Crossett School District received a report of an individual walking near the high school campus with a possible weapon. Out of an abundance of caution, safety protocols were initiated for Crossett High School and Crossett Middle School. Resource officers at both Crossett Middle School and Crossett High School were on campus. Additionally, local law enforcement was notified to investigate the report. Upon completion of the investigation, the all-clear was given at 8:05 a.m., and safety protocols were lifted.

Athletic Ticket Price Update: The General Entry Fee for ALL athletic events (junior high and senior high fall and spring sports) for the 2024-2025 season is now $7. This is in accordance with all 8-4A Conference events. Thank you for supporting our Eagles!

Plant Power is a celebration of plant-based fresh, seasonal and local foods. Through a variety of menu items and cafeteria activities, students can explore how they and their families can incorporate more of these powerful foods into their regular diet. We held the Discovery Kitchen at the Learning Center where the students were given the opportunity to try the Sunbutter and Banana Roll Up!

During dismissal at Crossett High School, today, April 12, 2024, bus 61 was stationary in the circle drive when a vehicle struck the front of the bus. No serious injuries were reported.
