A meeting will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 3:30 p.m. at the Crossett School District Administration Building (219 Main Street) for consultation regarding homeschool students residing in the district participating in Special Education and Related Services. All homeschool parents are invited to attend.

It presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year. During Red Ribbon Week, youth and adults around the nation pledge to increase their knowledge by learning more about the destructive effects of drug abuse, including prescription drug misuse, and renew their commitment to live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

Message to Parents!
Important Notice: October 1, 2023, is the deadline for receiving missing immunizations. Per Arkansas state law, if your child is missing immunizations, he or she will not be allowed to attend school after September 30, 2023, until the immunizations are received. If your child is exempt from immunizations, exemption letters must be received by October 1, 2023. Multiple letters have been sent to those requiring immunizations. Please call your physician or the health department to schedule immunizations if they have yet to be received. Please provide a copy of the immunization record to your child's school.
At approximately 2:39p.m. Crossett School District received a report of possible gun fire in a near by area of one of our campuses. Out of an abundance of caution safety protocols were initiated for Crossett Middle School and Crossett High School. Additionally law enforcement was contacted to investigate the report. Law enforcement investigated the report of possible gun fire and found no credible evidence during the course of their investigation. The all clear was given and safety protocols were lifted.

Parents/Guardians:
Please make sure you are waiting ten minutes early for your child's bus to arrive for pickup and drop off. Students who are in the 2nd grade or under MUST have a parent/guardian at the bus stop or at home physically visible to receive the student off of the bus. Elementary students are being given bus badges. Our Transportation Department provided these at no cost and will replace only one free of charge; any after that will cost $5 for replacement. Please make sure your student is wearing his/her bus badge every day. If your child's address changed over the summer, please make CONTACT with your child's school to make them aware of the change. In the afternoon, please be patient with our bus drivers this first week of school. Have a great and successful school year!

The regularly scheduled School Board meeting for CSD has been moved from Tuesday, August 8, 2023, to Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the CSD Central Office.
The date for the monthly Crossett School Board of Education meeting has been changed to Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the Administration building located at 219 Main Street beginning at 5 p.m.
