Sue Gibson’s 1-B class delivered Valentine cards and Bingo prizes to the Crossett Senior Center on Thursday. Crossett Middle School students toured the feeding site and checked their blood pressure & heart rates while there.

Congratulations to Adam Defee for placing second in the Ashley County Spelling Bee.

The CMS Quiz Bowl team placed 3rd in the 2020 SEARK Cooperative Quiz Bowl Tournament in Monticello today. The team is composed of Trinity Foster, Drew Johnson, Saylor Ross, Maggie Alford, Rachel Richardson, Tressa Richards, Brooklynn Mott and Max Taunton.


Crossett School District will be in session tomorrow, January 13th.

The Ashley County Spelling Bee will be rescheduled due to last night’s storms and the damage and road closures caused by them. We will announce the rescheduled date and time when a decision is made. Please spread the word!

EAST students Katie Duncan, Maggie Alford, and Caitlyn Lindsey join Mr. Hollis, Mrs. Parker, and Crossett Educational Alliance president Mrs. Lea Culp in signing the paperwork for the grant they were awarded. This grant will fund an after school tutoring program at CMS.


School will resume for Crossett Middle School tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7th, which will begin the 3rd 9 weeks. Report cards for the 2nd 9 weeks will be sent home with students on Wednesday, January 8th!


Congratulations to the CMS Spelling Bee winners: 1st place - Jordin Temple, 2nd place - Adam Defee and 3rd place - Kenna Elliott.


Students in Mrs. Todd’s 3B Automation and Robotics class are holding cars that they built and programmed. The cars were built to go as fast and straight as possible for 20 feet. The cars also had to stop as soon as they crossed a line of black tape on the floor.
