Congratulations to the Crossett High School 2020 Homecoming Court.

Crossett High School will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7 to observe Labor Day.


Bus #21 will NOT be running the MORNING route to GP Lake this week.
Bus #51 will NOT be running the AFTERNOON route to West Crossett this week.

Onsite classes are cancelled on Friday due to power outages in multiple schools. Friday will be a remote day with teachers monitoring email and Google Classroom.

School Picture day is Tuesday, September 1, for CHS. Grades 9, 10, 11, plus faculty and staff will be photographed. Remote learners should report at 10 AM to be included in the yearbook.

Friendly Reminder for Bus Riders:
If your child rode a bus last year and there has not been an address change, they are eligible to ride the bus this year without calling in to set up a bus. Please allow extra time the first couple of weeks of school. Make sure you are at your bus stop 10 minutes early. Important Information Regarding Afternoon Bus Schedules
Buses line up @ CHS @ 3:15 PM. CHS bell rings @ 3:20 PM. Buses DO NOT depart from CHS until 3:25 PM. Bus Line Up Order @ CHS is as follows:
1st: #34-Linda Jackson
2nd: #57-Donald Flentroy
3rd: #50-Diana Matheney
4th: #22-Sammy Cox
5th: #48-Audwin Bradford
Buses line up @ CES @ 3:10 PM. Buses line up order is as follows:
1st: #56 (Cindy Griffis): Departs bus garage @ 3:00 PM-Goes to CES to pick up the shuttle students who go to CLC (students who ONLY live in the neighborhood around CLC-Hastings-Make sure you are at CLC at 3:10 to pick up shuttle student). Then the bus picks up its route students. Please have the CES shuttle students at CLC in the mornings by 7:15 AM.
2nd: #43 (Ernie Edwards): 1st through 4th Boys & Girls Club students
3rd: #42 Murlee Carter-1st through 4th grade In Town Shuttle
Only 1st through 4th students, who live in the area of 8th, 9th,10th,11th ,12th, Dr. MLK, JR DR, Louisiana, Virginia, Mississippi, Carolina, Missouri, Parkway Area, Byrd, etc… (State Streets), ride this bus. We do NOT shuttle CMS & CHS students in town.

5th: #54 (Shirley Scott): Bus #49 AM/PM students will ride bus #54 from now one. These two routes are combining.

In Town Shuttle Student Information
Shuttle stops are in the following order:
1st: 8/KY 7th: MO/BYRD
2nd: 9th/MS 8TH: 3RD/VA (DAVIS MEMORIAL)
3rd: 12th/MS 9TH: 3RD/TENN
4th: MS/TX 10TH: 3RD/GA
5th: MS/ADAMS 11TH: 3RD/GATES CHAPEL
6TH: MS/BYRD
Please have your student at the BUS STOP @ 7:00 AM. IN THE AFTERNOONS, PARENTS MUST BE AT THE BUS STOP BY 3:00 PM WAITING ON YOUR CHILD’S ARRIVAL. IF NO ONE IS AT THE BUS STOP TO RECEIVE A CHILD WHO IS KG THROUGH 2ND GRADE, WE WILL NOT LET THEM OFF OF THE BUS. The child will be brought back to the bus garage where a parent/guardian will be contacted. After being brought back to the bus three times, the child will not be allowed to ride the bus for the remainder of the semester. It is vital the bus garage has correct contact information.
#55 (David Hampton): Departs bus garage @ 3:00 PM- Lines up @ CLC. Picks up its routes students along with the KG in town shuttle students, who live in the area of 8th, 9th,10th,11th ,12th, Dr. MLK, JR DR, Louisiana, Virginia, Mississippi, Carolina, Missouri, Parkway Area, Byrd, etc… (State Streets). Then proceeds to CES, CHS, CMS, ALE. The bus then takes KG in town shuttle students home 1st, then continue on its route. KG shuttle runs approximately 10-15 minutes behind the 1st through 4th grade shuttle buses.
*Face masks are required to be worn on the bus for those in 3rd grade and up. If someone has a medical condition with documentation from a doctor, they will be exempt from wearing the mask. It is the responsibility of parent(s)/guardian(s) to make your child does not have a fever of 100.4 before riding the bus. Per the Arkansas State Department, all bus windows must be down this year. The buses are not allowed to run with their windows up.

Crossett High School Orientation this week! Please remember the schedule for this week's orientation. In addition, this orientation is a come and go process to complete required paperwork and to receive technology - it takes only about 15 - 20 minutes. There are also no campus tours this week for health precautions. We apologize for any confusion and look forward to seeing our students and parents/guardians. Eagles Fly High!


Crossett High School Orientation will begin Tuesday, August 18.
Ninth grade students is Tuesday, August 18th. Tenth Grade Students is Wednesday, August 19th, Eleventh grade students is Thursday, August 20th. All remote learners will be Friday, August 21.
Each day students whose last names begin with A through M are 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., and N through Z are 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
A parent/guardian must attend with the student to sign required paperwork. The $25 insurance fee for a device must be paid.
A mask must be worn when entering the building.

Crossett High School Orientation Schedule: Please attend during your scheduled time and follow the required health safety procedures. ALL 9th - 11th grade students must attend.
