Class of 2020: Scholarship Information is Needed to be Read for the Graduation Ceremony on July 25.

Parents and Graduates for the Class of 2020, I wanted to follow-up and remind everyone that we will move forward with the July 25th date regarding traditional graduation. The location for the event will be Yarborough Football Field, and the start time will be 10:00 a.m. for the ceremony. To allow for social distancing requirements, we will have seating on both the football field's visitor and home side. This will be to maximize the number of people that will be able to attend and celebrate our student's accomplishments safely. Additionally, we will position the graduates on the field to allow for maximum visibility since we will be utilizing seating on both sides of the stadium. We will not require a practice; however, we will require graduates to be at the field by 9:00 a.m. for the line-up. We are planning to allow 15 tickets per graduate; however, in the event of indoor graduation, the number will drop to six. Indoor graduation would occur in the arena if inclement weather or temperature did not allow for the outside graduation. CDC and Arkansas Department of Health guidance must be maintained, with further instructions to be provided in a separate post. I will be sending an email to your student to inquire as to the number of guests your graduate intends to bring for organizational purposes. If you have additional questions before the detailed plan is released, please don't hesitate to call. My cell phone number is (870) 723-4827. Regards, Anthony Boykin Principal, Crossett High School
