CES and the CES Student Leadership Team is excited to announce that we will be doing a DOG FOOD drive for the local Crossett Shelter. CES will take donations through Feb. 3rd. Our goal is 1500 lbs of food!! You may drop donations at the front office.

Our 3rd and 4th Grade students will be taking their Winter NWEA MAP growth test Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. We are excited for them to work hard and do their very best. It will be important for them to be well rested and here on time, so they can knock this test out of the park!!

There will be an Ashley County Community Wide Assembly on December 6 at Hamburg High School from 6 to 6:45 p.m. featuring Kirk Lane, Director of Opioid Recovery Partnership and Jimmy McGill, Arkansas Peer Recovery Specialist Supervisor, who will speak on reducing substance abuse in our community. We have been monitoring the rising flu cases at the elementary school, impacting faculty and students.  At this time, we will be having school tomorrow.  We will continue monitoring and plan accordingly.

Parents/ Guardians: We are excited to have you all coming to night for Parent Teacher Conferences. If your student has left a jacket at school, all outer wear and clothing items in the lost and found have been set out in the cafeteria for easy viewing. These items will be relocated after today.

CES Red Ribbon Week Kickoff Tuesday, October 25th from 7:30-7:50 (during morning drop off) We welcome all of our CES parents to participate in our Red Ribbon Week kickoff by coming up with the most creative way to decorate your vehicles in honor of this year's Red Ribbon Week. This year’s theme is “Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free.”. We encourage our bus drivers to participate in our morning kickoff as well. Students can make posters at home to bring to school to be used to decorate our hallways. We look forward to seeing everyone celebrate life and live drug free with CES!
