Third graders will perform in our upcoming Veterans Day concert next Tuesday, Nov 11 at 6:00 PM in the CHS auditorium. We ask that students arrive at 5:30 PM so we can situate them for the performance.
★ 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲: We ask that students wear solid or mix-colored shirts of red, white, and/or blue for their performance, preferably without logos or words. Patriotic symbols are fine. We also ask that students wear khaki pants, jeans, or skirts for their performance.
★ 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰: Your child can practice their songs at home. A little bit of practice makes a big difference. You can access the playlist by following this link: tinyurl.com/y2c9mcjb

In the first 10 minutes of class, our first graders in Mrs. McBride's class choose their own books and share their favorites with classmates.
This daily routine builds:

Watching them excited to read and talk about books is the sweetest start to our day! 💕📖✨

Family Game Night will be next Tuesday, October 14, from 6:00-7:00 PM in the CES gym. Students and family members will get to play games, win prizes, and have the choice to purchase food from the Pizza Trailer or La Rosa Lindas. CES scholars stay mentally focused during transitions by using the time to review literacy skills with these fun, engaging activities. Each grade level receives daily clues to guess the mystery letter or word. Kindergarten is working on letters, 1st grade is working on vocabulary words, and 3rd & 4th are working on morphology.
