Congratulations to Katelyn Richards for winning first place in the SEARK Reading Council’s Why I Love Arkansas Young Writer’s Contest. Katelyn was honored last night at the SEARK meeting in Monticello. Katelyn is a 4th grader in Mrs. Shada Hamilton’s class, and her winning essay was entitled, “The Crescent Hotel Experience”.

In an effort to ensure the safety of our students while attending after school events, we want to remind you of our Handbook policy which states that preschool children and students in kindergarten through sixth grade must be accompanied by an adult when attending athletic events, band or choir concerts, or any other extracurricular activities.
