It is not too late to visit the CES BOOK FAIR in the CES library. Book Fair open thru Friday, Feb. 8th. 8:00am-3:30pm. Come with your child or send $ in a sealed envelope with student name, amount and Book Fair noted on envelope.

Congratulations to Katelyn Richards for winning first place in the SEARK Reading Council’s Why I Love Arkansas Young Writer’s Contest. Katelyn was honored last night at the SEARK meeting in Monticello. Katelyn is a 4th grader in Mrs. Shada Hamilton’s class, and her winning essay was entitled, “The Crescent Hotel Experience”.

In an effort to ensure the safety of our students while attending after school events, we want to remind you of our Handbook policy which states that preschool children and students in kindergarten through sixth grade must be accompanied by an adult when attending athletic events, band or choir concerts, or any other extracurricular activities. The safety of our students is of utmost importance to us and we thank you for your support of this policy.

Leadership students felt “sad” to see the dogs but “grateful” they could help. We will continue collecting food for the Crossett Pound. There will be donation boxes at the admin building and CES.





CES Student Leadership Team delivered gifts to StoneGate and pet food to Crossett Pound Thursday as part of their community service project this semester.





Our students loved going to see The Grinch movie in El Dorado this week! #MerryChristmas


CES Leadership students are delivering items to the local nursing home and the Crossett Pound tomorrow morning. There's still time to drop off items! CES will continue to collect items for the pound after Christmas because we realize it's an ongoing need. Thank you for your help!

Mrs. Boykin’s Fourth grade students presented at the School Board Meeting tonight demonstrating orally and video presentations how the brain works and signs of a concussion. This study is part of Project Lead the Way
