CES 4th grade scholars have been learning about the human heart in their Science class and reading about hearts in literacy. Today, CES was honored to host members of ACMC to further discuss the human heart: naming the parts of the heart (students were excited to share their knowledge), learning about what is healthy and not healthy for their hearts, and there was time for Q & A. The lesson was completed with a special gift: a heart pop-it! Thank you ACMC for investing in our scholars!

Our 1st grade Eagle Scholars are learning to be scientists. Featured in these photos are students in Mrs. Watts's classroom. Our young scientists are observing how water moves through celery and flowers to verify the function of a stem. Students used food coloring so they will be able to see the dye traveling into the leaves. #ThisIsCrossett
