🦅 Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our students and staff, the Crossett School District will remain closed on Friday, January 30, 2026. While main roads are improving, many rural routes and county roads are still unsafe for travel - especially during the morning hours. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. 💯🦅 100 Days Strong, Eagles! To allow our elementary students, teachers, and families time to get ready and fully enjoy the celebration, we will celebrate the 100th Day of School on Thursday, February 5.

**Please be advised that this inclement weather day will be made up on Tuesday, June 2. The state no longer provides AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) Days.

Attention Crossett School District Community: Due to extremely cold temperatures and the continued accumulation of sleet, snow, and ice, which are causing unsafe travel conditions, the Crossett School District will be closed on Monday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The district will provide an additional update on Tuesday afternoon regarding school on Wednesday, January 28. Please stay safe and warm!

Eagles on the Rise: FCCLA Members Advance to State!

🦅🥎 We love to see our Eagles soar! Congratulations to our Senior Softball Standout Braelyn Campbell on signing to play college softball at the University of Arkansas - Rich Mountain. This is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are so proud of her hard work, dedication, and determination!

Attention Crossett Community: Due to the predicted weather on Friday, January 23, there have been changes to our Crossett Basketball schedule. In addition, if the 7G, 7B, JG, JB games are rescheduled, we will notify the community. Thank you for your support!

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all students, families, and community members, the Crossett School District would like to share the safety procedures and expectations for the Basketball Games on Tuesday, January 20. These procedures are proactive; security personnel and school staff will be on site to monitor the event and assist as needed. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to provide a secure, family-friendly environment for everyone.

As Crossett School District celebrates all of the CSD Board of Education Members, we would also like to highlight the extraordinary work completed by our School Board President, Debra Barnes. She has been awarded the Pinacle Award for completing over 200 hours of Board Training. Congratulations to Ms. Barnes, and THANK YOU for all that you do for our school community. #ThisIsCrossett

Attention Ashley County Community: It is time for the Annual Crossett High School Music Theater presentation! Admission is $10. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. Make plans to attend to support our talented Eagles!

STEAM Night is coming up on Tuesday, January 27 from 5:30-7:00 PM in the CES cafeteria. Join us for a fun evening filled with hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. We will also have a homework resource station for parents. We hope to see you and your family for a night of learning and fun!
