Attention Homeschool Parents residing in Crossett School District: A meeting will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 3:30 p.m. at the Crossett School District Administration Building (219 Main Street) for consultation regarding homeschool students residing in the district participating in Special Education and Related Services. All homeschool parents are invited to attend.

CES will host Family Game Night tomorrow, Nov. 9th, from 5:30-7:30 pm. Students and family members will get to play games and win prizes, with the top prize being a free Nintendo Switch. The La Rosa Linda food truck will be parked outside for anyone who wishes to purchase dinner. We hope to see you there!

Third graders will perform in tonight's Veterans Day concert! Their performance will be at 6:00 p.m. tonight in the CHS auditorium. We ask that students arrive at 5:30 p.m. so we can situate them for the performance. Students should wear solid or mix-colored shirts of red, white, and/or blue for their performance, preferably without logos or words. Patriotic symbols are fine. We also ask that students wear khaki pants or skirts for their performance. Fourth grade graduation will be this Thursday, May 18, at 6:00 p.m. in the CHS arena. Please bring your child to the arena by 5:30 p.m. in their graduation attire. We can't wait to see everyone there!

The Crossett School District would like to inform our parents and patrons about a social media post circulated at the CHS and CMS campus today, May 5, 2023, involving a threat that resulted in the Crossett High School campus briefly going on lockdown. This post originated from a social media account from a different Arkansas town. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the post originated from a post out of Florida. The post alleged that a school shooting would occur on May 5, 2023, at 2:40 p.m. The threat is not specific to any school in Arkansas, and there are no known threats directed at Crossett School District. However, we take all safety concerns seriously and will continue to monitor the situation and work with local law enforcement to ensure students and staff are safe at all times. Again, the general awareness statement is not specific to any school district in Arkansas, including Crossett School District.
