Earlier this week, The Drug-Free Ashley County Youth Leadership team presented information to the community about Johnny's Ambassadors. The team consists of students from Crossett and Hamburg. What a GREAT collaboration for an excellent cause. Keep up the work! These youth are our future.

Attention Crossett School District Community: It is not too late to apply for Summer EBT.

Program Overview:
• Benefit Amount: $120 per eligible child.
• Purpose: To ensure children receive adequate nutrition during the summer break.

Eligibility and Application Process:
• Automatic Eligibility: Families currently participating in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
Program) may automatically receive the Summer EBT benefit. They will receive a letter stating they
will receive the benefit and do not need to apply.

• Application Required: Families not automatically enrolled are encouraged to apply to determine their
eligibility. To apply or check eligibility status, families should visit the DHS website at
ar.gov/summerebt. The website provides detailed instructions and the necessary forms to complete
the application process.

***If student received benefits last summer the funds will be put on last year’s card, if you no
longer have that card call EBT Line 1-800-997-9999 for a replacement card***

GREAT NEWS Crossett Community! Crossett School District has opened a 7th Pre-K (3 or 4) classroom for the 2025-2026 school year! Please make plans to enroll your little Eagle! You may come to the CSD Central Office (219 Main Street) to pick up an application. Don't forget: FREE childcare after school for all enrolled Pre-K students until 5:30 pm every day.

Look at these CHS Eagles Soaring! Lucas Taylor and Bradley Johnston applied their knowledge and skills learned from EAST class and the CSD Technology Department. They were asked by the Crossett Riding Club to run the video cameras at the rodeo. They did an awesome job and were asked to come back next year!
