IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
For CES Fall Fun-Day, we are excited to announce that each student will be allowed to have one Parent/ Guardian come for the OUTDOOR activities. Unfortunately, due to limited space and continuing to try and keep to Social Distancing guidelines, parents WILL NOT be able to attend parties.

2nd Grade Pumpkin Patch Update:
Oct 28th (Thursday)- Parents are able to meet the students there. However, parking MAY BE AN ISSUE as there are multiple schools from the region attending on that day. Parents will be responsible for parking and their admission fee. You may contact Milo Farms for Additional information.

Students will sign a banner to pledge to make good choices.
Wednesday - “I believe in me, Happy, HEALTHY, and Drug Free”
CES makes healthy choices from head to toe. Wear your crazy hair and crazy socks!
Thursday - “We are RED-y to say NO to Drugs”
Red Day! Wear as much red as you can!
Friday - CES Fall Festival!!


Next Friday will be our FALL FUNDAY! Students will be able to wear their costumes Friday the 29th. We only ask no full face coverings or gory/ super scary face paint.

CES is celebrating Red Ribbon Week next week October 26-29. It will start Tuesday Morning with a care caravan. We invite parents/ guardians to decorate your cars with streamers, balloons, signs and anything else you dream up to help us celebrate our week's theme: DRUG FREE LOOKS LIKE ME.

Parent Teacher Conferences at CES will be Monday, Oct. 25th from 12 to 6. Conferences can be in person or virtual.

The Crossett School Board of Education approved a Resolution on October 11, 2021, that Mask requirements would be dependent upon the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement’s (ACHI) COVID-19 Map. The following will determine if masks are required or strongly recommended while indoors and not able to maintain physical distancing of six feet or greater:
ACHI designation of Purple (over 100 active infections per 10K People): Masks Required
ACHI designation of Red (between 50 and 99 active infections per 10K People) Masks Required
ACHI designation of Orange (between 30 and 49 active infections per 10K People) or higher for two consecutive weeks: Masks Required
ACHI designation of Yellow (between 20-29 active infections per 10K People) or lower for two consecutive weeks: Masks Strongly Recommended
ACHI designation of Light Green (between 10-19 active infections per 10K People) Masks Strongly Recommended
ACHI designation of Dark Green (between 0-9 active infections per 10K People) Masks Strongly Recommended
Currently Crossett School District has been designated as Yellow or lower for two consecutive weeks and will strongly recommend masks for all students, staff, and visitors while indoors and not able to maintain physical distancing of six feet or greater.
Arkansas Department of Health quarantine guidelines are still in place and contact tracing will continue in the event a positive case of COVID-19 is reported.
The masks status will be updated weekly as current ACHI Maps are released.

Attn Parents/ Guardians: The letters sent home dated April 16th was printed prior to the School Board's majority decision to issue the District wide mask mandate. Masks ARE required for all staff, K-4 students, and visitors at Crossett Elementary School.

Reminder: Doors open at 7:30. Parents will not be allowed to walk students to their classrooms tomorrow. We will have plenty of teachers, staff, and student leaders to help get everyone to their classrooms! We're excited to see everyone tomorrow!

Great news regarding in food services for our CES kiddos!!!

Bus Announcements:
There will no longer be a shuttle from Hastings to Anderson in the mornings and afternoons. If you live in that area, your student will be considered a car rider or walker.
Starting Monday, 8/2/2021, ALL Parents/Guardians will need to call Jennifer @ 870-364-3225/870-364-6300 to register your student to ride a bus. Whether your student rode a bus last year or is new to the district, you still need to call to register them. Please make sure you provide us with an up to date contact number, and at least one emergency contact name & number. Contact the Transportation Office for any questions or concerns you may have.

We hope everyone is having a great summer so far!!
There will be no classroom supply list for K-4 students for the 2021-2022 school year. Classroom supplies will be provided.

CES Summer School Pick-up/ Drop-off info:
Arrival time: 7:45-8:00
Car Dismissal: 12:00
Bus Dismissal: 12:15
1st and 2nd grade line will be the same as the regular school year.
K/3rd/4th line will be the regular 3rd and 4th drive during the year (South Drive from 12th ave).
We are excited to see everyone tomorrow!!!
