At Crossett Middle School, Gavyn "The Goliath" Martin and Kylee "The Konquerer" Malone competed for a gift card in a Literacy Showdown. Throughout the nine weeks, all students competed for the Champion spot -- however, for the first time in Mr. Clark's classroom, two students tied!
Gavyn "The Goliath" Martin walked away the winner of this head to head round as the Literacy Champion of the First Nine Weeks.
Congratulations to these two young scholars!
