11th Grade Civics Exam - Rescheduled Date


Due to the possibility of inclement weather on Monday, January 11, 2021, there will be no onsite instruction. ALL students will be Virtual Learners. Students, please make sure you continue to complete your work and prepare for finals. You may contact your teachers via email.

No Civics Exam for Remote 11th grade students on Monday, January 11, 2021. The state required Civics Exam that was to be completed by CHS 11th grade Remote Learners on Monday, January 11 will be rescheduled.

Crossett High School campus will be closed Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.


CHS Student Council
The CHS Student Council members are collecting items to support Ashley County Beta Sigma Phi with their Christmas Dove Tree. Students will be collecting items November 4 - 20 to donate to the organization. Items can be brought to Mrs. Adams's classroom or dropped off in front of the school office in the designated location.
Most of these items can be found at Dollar General or the Dollar Store: throw blankets, men and women socks, men and women bath sets, toothbrushes, toothpaste, men and women caps and gloves, pocket calendars, word searches, adult coloring books, colors, markers, pens, and neck pillows.

Mr. Lancaster will be back on CHS campus on November 13 to take measurements for cap and gown! Seniors will receive a specific time for their appointment. You may also make any purchases of additional materials at that appointment.

Important Update Regarding Water Bottles


IMPORTANT REMINDER: Starting Monday, October 19, every Monday will be a Virtual Learning day for ALL CHS students. The school busses will not run their regular routes. If students choose to attend school on campus on Mondays, they will not be in their traditional classroom setting. Breakfast and lunch will still be provided for ALL students.

FAFSA night has been rescheduled to Tuesday Oct. 27th in order to have reps from higher education to help families with the FAFSA application process. The time is still 5:30-8:30.
