HOSA tissue drive

The Crossett High School (CHS) Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) collected boxes of tissue to pass out at the Stonegate nursing home on October 24, 2018. HOSA sponsor Mrs. Janell Harper said that “HOSA has been collecting and passing out tissue for approximately 10 years.” HOSA started passing out tissue because they wanted to give back to the community. They also saw a need in local long term care facility for extra kleenex during the flu season. HOSA collected about 70-72 boxes of tissue with 17 boxes left over to hand out to new residents and those in the hospital. Mrs. Janell Harper said she “enjoys seeing smiles and the students at CHS interacting and the will to help.”
