Due to the number of quarantines, Crossett Elementary School (grades 1-4) will move to remote learning Monday, February 1, 2021, through February 5, 2021. Students will access their lessons through Google Classroom. Students at Crossett Elementary School will return to their normal schedule on February 8, 2021. All other campuses will continue with on-site instruction as normal.
Students on site today will bring home needed materials.
Office staff will be available for any materials that need to be picked up next week.

One bag of supplies per student will be available to pick-up when getting AMI packets next week.
The first 100 AMI packets picked up will get to take their donated school supplies home in a Crossett School District Eagle drawstring bag.
Pick-ups will be available from 8am-3pm Monday through Thursday at both CLC and CES campuses.

Crossett School District will provide free sack lunches (lunch and breakfast items) to all children, 1-18 years old beginning Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 20 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the following locations: • Crossett Elementary School-pick up in the back bus drive • Crossett High School-pick up by the Sports Arena entrance • Fred’s Parking Lot-North Crossett • Crossett Youth Center-Dr. ML King Jr. Drive and 3rd Avenue. REMINDER: Beginning January 27, 2020. CES 1st and 2nd Grade Student pick up a Walnut access will be diverted to entering the pick up line from Camp Road. Walnut street will be closed due to utility work during the week of January 27, 2020 weather permitting.

We are extremely proud of our CES Robotics Team! With only two months to build their robots and practice the game, they did an outstanding job in their first tournament. Thank you to the parents and volunteers who were able to help everything run so smoothly. Next up: Lake Village tournament on February 1.

Congratulations to Katelyn Richards for winning first place in the SEARK Reading Council’s Why I Love Arkansas Young Writer’s Contest. Katelyn was honored last night at the SEARK meeting in Monticello. Katelyn is a 4th grader in Mrs. Shada Hamilton’s class, and her winning essay was entitled, “The Crescent Hotel Experience”.

In an effort to ensure the safety of our students while attending after school events, we want to remind you of our Handbook policy which states that preschool children and students in kindergarten through sixth grade must be accompanied by an adult when attending athletic events, band or choir concerts, or any other extracurricular activities. The safety of our students is of utmost importance to us and we thank you for your support of this policy.
