Mask

The Crossett School Board of Education approved a Resolution on October 11, 2021, that Mask requirements would be dependent upon the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement’s (ACHI) COVID-19 Map. The following will determine if masks are required or strongly recommended while indoors and not able to maintain physical distancing of six feet or greater:

ACHI designation of Purple (over 100 active infections per 10K People): Masks Required

ACHI designation of Red (between 50 and 99 active infections per 10K People) Masks Required

ACHI designation of Orange (between 30 and 49 active infections per 10K People) or higher for two consecutive weeks: Masks Required

ACHI designation of Yellow (between 20-29 active infections per 10K People) or lower for two consecutive weeks: Masks Strongly Recommended

ACHI designation of Light Green (between 10-19 active infections per 10K People) Masks Strongly Recommended

ACHI designation of Dark Green (between 0-9 active infections per 10K People) Masks Strongly Recommended

Currently, Crossett School District has been designated as Dark Green for 1 week and will strongly recommend masks for all students, staff, and visitors while indoors and not able to maintain physical distancing of six feet or greater. Arkansas Department of Health quarantine guidelines are still in place and contact tracing will continue in the event a positive case of COVID-19 is reported. The masks status will be updated weekly as current ACHI Maps are released. Link to the ACHI Maps: https://achi.net/covid19/
