Act 37 states a driver of a motor vehicle shall not use a handheld wireless telephone while passing a school building or school zone during school hours when children are present and outside the building.
A driver of a motor vehicle may use a wireless telephone while in a school zone for emergency purpose. A driver of a motor vehicle may not use a handheld wireless telephone in a highway work zone when a highway worker is present unless for an emergency purpose.
